  1. Please post all your letters for this cause on this blog and the UVic Buns Management Facebook page, or email it to and I will do so. Blessings!

  2. REALLY ?? You're gonna KILL BUNNIES ????? WTF is wrong with you people? please neuter them & release. Don't be so irresponsable & heartless. Teach Compassion not cruelty. aloha from Hawaii

  3. Perhaps you need to review the alternatives for long term management. I can tell you from experience that a shooting cull will not be effective. I have worked several of such culls. I don't think you have accurately measured the resources needed nor the continued management this option entails. In your situation it is simply not sustainable. I would hate to see the University of Victoria, who prides itself on environmental and ecological studies to fail miserably simply because they are trying to take the cheap method instead of digging deep into the issue and examining all of the perspectives. Of course the most efficient and cost effective method would be poison. Would UVic stoop so low? Have you considered the publicity the institution will receive when activist and students with cell phones begin to post video of men on campus with small arms and the death throes of furry little bunny rabbits. Film posted on blogs, websites, youtube and likely mainstream media showing innocent little creatures who have been shot by the university's admin, lying in puddles of blood, kicking in pain as the life slowly slips from their sweet little eyes. Why must the answer to all of today's problems be violence?

Please, do all of us a favor as well as the University you represent and push for an intelligent and ecologically responsible solution to this problem. In the long run I think you will find one of the alternative methods to be both more economical and more perpetual than the suggested cull.

Thank you for your time and understanding in this matter,

  4. This is the response I get to my email. I wonder if they are doing something now?
