Unfortunately, the university did not want to consider the TNR as a solution for the majority of the rabbits. Our choice now is to relocate and rehome in Ministry Approved Sanctuaries. As the majority of these sanctuaries are full, we want to create one and this requires land, funding, donations and volunteers. PLEASE HELP SAVE THE UVIC BUNNIES OR 1200-1400 RABBITS WILL BE KILLED.

I've seen dead rabbits at the University right in the main residential square which WEREN'T obviously starving, or injured, or having been hit by a car (they couldn't have made it that far). They have DEFINITELY been using poison up there. Please do another protest and publicize it widely. We'll come!
